At the moment I'm going pretty heavily into UIL Academics (Computer Science and Literary Criticism) while trying to balance AP everything and hopefully pull off A's in most of my classes (senioritis has affected me to the point that I'm willing to accept B's in some classes if it lets me have time to do what I really want to do.
I am now in Jazz Band playing Electric Violin and I'm going to be looking into auditioning for music ensembles at my colleges. Currently my college of choice is UT Austin. Still waiting to hear from Carnegie-Mellon and Princeton. One can only hope. But then there's the question: "how will we pay for it?!?" I'm good for UT but anything out of state will be difficult.
Right now I'm working with a friend to compose a piano concerto that our school orchestra might perform at the final concert. A good way to end our musical experience in high school, I think. Since we're on a deadline we're likely going to be spending much of our Spring Break trying to get that done, among all the other things we have to do. Not to mention relaxing. I need to relax. Unfortunately I don't know if dA has a submission category for musical compositions so I don't know whether it will be posted here but I'll look into that. Unless anyone knows, then I'd appreciate someone telling me how to go about that. We could post a PDF of the sheet music I suppose but I'm not sure we really want to put that out in public when we might get it published.
Anyway, lately I've been suffering from anxiety and I've been trying to do too much and I'm pretty much burned out so I have a week to do whatever I want and sleep as much as I want and hopefully I will have relaxed enough that I can go back to doing what needs to be done to finish out high school strong.
___PROJECTS___
Piano Concerto (unnamed, no working title)
Short story (?): Plague of Darkness (not actually in progress right now) the working idea is a secret society of assassins that call themselves the Plague of Darkness
Short story (?): <untitled> - from a personal viewpoint, set in the future, I will travel the remains of the locations most important to me as a youth and reflect upon my life in a series of flashbacks, while making a commentary about the destructiveness of our present society
Novel: Talisman - not really sure what I'm going to do with this. its a jumble of ideas and i'm going to need a lot longer than a week to sort out what's going on.
According to my last update I have some pictures I was going to submit. I'll have to look for them. I can't recall anything specifically.

At the moment, I kind of specialize in everything. I like to have a variety in my work. However, I've been drawing long before anything else, and when I went to a competition yesterday, a judge said my drawing skills look like my strongest.
I tend to go the traditional route, but I'm planning to start practicing digital coloring. My gallery will be housing a lot more paintings and drawings soon.
